Marcus sat on the bed of the barren room that he had been provided. He unzipped the black jacket he used to conceal his cybernetic figure, staring at the body that had become worn from years of use. He blinked a few times as he stared into the full-body mirror that had been provided, rubbing his tired brown eyes. He held his head in his metallic hands, mulling over his life up to that point. You see, Marcus was a former soldier who fought on the frontlines in military operations. But after a traumatic accident in a battle that had irrevocably damaged his body and left him nearly dead, his human body could no longer continue serving. But the doctors had an idea. With Marcus in shambles, there was only one thing that could be done to restore Marcus to combat status: replace the majority of his body with cybernetic enhancements.
